Here is a vintage 1969 edition of "Gem Making As A Hobby" by STAR DIAMOND INDUSTRIES INC. this vintage catalog brochure has sections on How To Cut Rocks With Diamond Blades, Helpful Hints For Cutting, Grinding, and Polishing and the Newest Catalog of Gem Making Equipment. no rips tears or defacing to pages. front and back cover has some corner dings, light staining, and a small old water stain at top upper corner area as shown in pics. please view all pics. Apparently this rock hound book is a big deal, as I see it listed with pretty steep prices. It is sometimes difficult to gauche why and when rock hound books become more exclusive, but often has something to do with limited availability of certain years of publication. I suspect that this issue is one of those examples. Anyhow, a good book in good quality, for anyone interested in collecting minerals and Gemstones in Wyoming.
