SCARCE!! INTERESTING MAP OF A NOW-POPULATED AREA!!
This is USGS map I-761-A,
Surficial and Bedrock Geologic Map of the Golden Quadrangle, Jefferson County, Colorado
. Published in 1972, this is a nice 7.5-minute quadrangle map depicting the complex geology of this beautiful area. Rock units range in age from Cretaceous and younger, and include the Fox Hills sandstone, noteworthy for fossil plants in some parts of Colorado. Rocky Flats Lake is in the NW corner. Maple Grove Reservoir is in the SE corner. The map is beautifully colorful, and really would look nice framed and hung in a home or business in the area, or just kept for study and enjoyment.
Measures 41 inches across the top.
Please read the condition notes. There are notable issues, especially to the sleeve.
