Russian hunting knife "Legionnair" AUS8 Steel KIZLYAR
The Legionnaire's Knife is a knife that resembles the short swords of Roman legionnaires in the shape of a blade. The similarity is enhanced by the inlaid leather handle and metal finial at the end of the handle. The leather handle allows you to securely hold the knife in your hand with forward and reverse grip. This heavy duty machete is closely based on the original Spetsnaz "Taiga" survival machete which was designed in the 1950s for Soviet era Special Forces.
It has some key improvements over the original:
Full tang
Made of stainless steel.
Holds a sharp edge very well.
The saw back has two sharp rows of offset teeth instead of a single row It cuts wood faster.
The handle is a more comfortable design made of wenge wood instead of bakelite
With this multi tool you can easily clear a path, chop and split firewood, hammer tent stakes, dig a rain trench around your tent, make tools of wood or bone and perform any other work you need to do in the field.
The double row of teeth saws wood while the fine teeth are for working bone.
This survival machete comes with a leather sheath to wear on your belt and to transport the machete safely.
