I assume if you're looking at this you know what it's for, but basically it acts as a cell phone, but you plug your home phone into it.
We found we got a better rate by having USCC take over our landline number and changing it to this cell device. We plug our corded phone into it (we used the base unit of our satellite phones we already had), and then if we got a landline call, it basically acted like it was really a landline call. But we decided to just drop the whole thing and just use our cellphones now. It worked just fine, and also the battery pack is installed. Extra cords we used and the manuals are also included, and free shipping. I think, not sure, but think you'd need to be a USCC customer for it to work.
