Analysis of a 24-Year Photographic Record of Nisqually Glacier, Mount Rainier National Park, Washington
. Published in 1969, this cool report consists the 52-page text and the original map. This book discusses changes in Nisqually glacier over time, providing numerous sequential photos taken from the same vantage points over time. I was intrigued that glacier retreat was not among the noted changes occurring over time at this glacier. However, many other changes and observations were noted and discussed, and supported by photographs. This study was done to support worldwide glacier studies. The map is pretty cool and would look nice framed and hung in a lodge or home in the area.
