This publication has loads of information on this interesting area that has produced many great mineral specimens of various kinds. Now here is the amazing part: This entire publication is in remarkably good condition and really looks like it was used very little. The maps especially barely look like they have been unfolded, let alone used. How it survived in such good shape all these years is a mystery, but you get to benefit from it. Per photos, auction is for this RARE 1913  U.S.G.S.  Bulletin #528.   The 9 inch x 5.75 inch 182 page Bulletin has been recovered as noted in first photo, but has no torn, marked, or missing pages. Per photos, it has two fold-out maps in a back-cover pocket.   One is a geologic map of Lemhi Co., that also shows major mines,  16 1/4" x 19 3/4" with a 2 1/2" tear in the upper right corner.   The other map is a claim map of the Gilmore mines, 19 1/2" x 23".   There are several other fold out maps attached to the book, & well as vintage photos.
I can find no other copies of this rare book for sale.   It has been quite useful to me, which I why I have another copy.
From a Non-smoking household, and this item does not have any mildew or mold odors.
