This is the first edition of this kit which was produced 12 years ago. I got it direct from Victory Models in England. It contains all the original fittings from the first edition never unpacked or used except for the keel and bulkheads to build the hull. All planking is original wood. The hull was constructed for me as a favor by a professional model shipbuilder (name withheld) who is world-renowned with models in museums around the world.

t is packed to ship in two cartons and has been in climate-controlled storage, the photos of the finished model are stock photos. I have taken photos of the hull unpacked and packed to ship. If you look online or here in eBay stores, you can see that it is selling now for up to $1,200.00 USD new. In a lot of cases it is not in stock but must be special ordered from Europe as well. I had to stop building 10 years ago because of health issues or I would have finished it.

The Springer Tugs drive on the American rivers as push boats and carry out transport and maneuvering tasks. They are built very easily and quickly. Since they can also be kept and built very simply as models, springer tug matches with these models were developed in England and America. Simple rules were established, only the actual hull, the drive and the rudder are regulated to ensure equal opportunities. A few years ago this wave also spilled over to Germany. These models can be used to take skill courses, but also to play water polo with teams. The models are therefore kept simple by the equipment. The Ramborator Springer complies with these rules and is ready to drive after a few hours of construction.
The kit contains: All plywood parts required for construction with appropriate fits for plugging together and gluing. The kit also contains strips, shaft and rudder as well as the fitting set. The colored instructions are provided with many building sketches.
